Township Logo

The new crest for the Township of Mapleton was designed by 16 year old Jenni Spies in June of 1999.

A Township wide contest was held and several submissions made the selection difficult.

Jenni's creation incorporated the symbols from the former three municipalities - the rose, representing the Village of Drayton, the sheaf of wheat representing the Township of Peel and the Maple Leaf representing the Township of Maryborough.
