Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and strategic oversight of Northern Maple Utilities Inc. The Board acts in the best interests of the corporation, providing leadership, accountability, and stewardship to ensure the safe, reliable, environmentally responsible, and financially sustainable delivery of water and wastewater services. The Board establishes strategic direction, oversees organizational performance and risk, ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, protects public assets, and promotes transparency and accountability in support of the Township's long-term service and infrastructure objectives.

Board Composition

The Board of Directors consists of eight (8) directors, with the following composition:

• Four (4) directors directly involved with the Municipal Asset Partnership ^TM, at least three (3) of which shall be staff of The Corporation of the Township of Mapleton and one (1) of which, during the duration of the Municipal Asset Partnership ^TM, shall be a representative of Graham Capital Partners LP;
• Two (2) directors who are members of Council for Corporation of the Township of Mapleton; and
• Two (2) directors who are members of the public who meet criteria set by The Corporation of the Township of Mapleton.
