Mapleton's 2026 Culture Days!

Mapleton Culture Days are here, with nearly 20 free events and activities for the community to enjoy throughout the season.

From creative workshops and demonstrations to opportunities to connect, learn and experience something new, there is something for everyone to discover. These events are a chance to celebrate the people, creativity, traditions and experiences that help make Mapleton such a special place to live.

We hope you will take the opportunity to participate, learn something new, meet members of your community and experience the culture that makes Mapleton unique.

Celebrate Culture Days with a special visit to Mapleton Acres on September 20! 

Join us for a FREE Flower Pressing Event and get creative with beautiful blooms from the farm. Learn how to press flowers and create a unique keepsake to take home with you.

Ready to make some music? Join the Drayton School of Music, with help from MooreBand, for a fun and welcoming Jam Night during Mapleton Culture Days.

Whether you are an experienced musician or want to build your confidence and try something new, come out and play! All the gear you need will be provided.

The evening will feature a Junior Jam Session from 6:30–8:00 p.m., followed by an Adult Jam Session.

Come meet fellow musicians, learn something new, and enjoy an evening of making music together.

Whether you play regularly or are just looking to give it a try, everyone is welcome!

Join us for a gentle yoga class surrounded by the herd of horses in the Round Pen! This free Culture Days event will focus on the seasonal shift and how we can align ourselves with the rhythms of nature. 

After class, enjoy an opportunity to interact with the herd, followed by a cozy bonfire with tea and treats.

Ready to make some music? Join the Drayton School of Music, with help from MooreBand, for a fun and welcoming Jam Night during Mapleton Culture Days.

Whether you’re an experienced musician, looking to build your confidence, or simply want to enjoy an evening of live music, everyone is welcome. All the gear needed to participate will be provided.

Come play, listen, connect and enjoy a night of music in the community!

Explore your creative side and learn something new at this hands-on workshop at the Drayton Branch of the Wellington County Library.

Participants will learn how to make handmade paper from paper pulp and explore natural dyes that can be used on paper or fabric. It’s a great opportunity to experiment with creative techniques and discover new ways to use natural materials.

Location: Drayton Branch, Wellington County Library
Ages: Teens 13–18 and adults 18+

Come create, experiment and take home something you made yourself!

Calling all puzzle lovers! Bring your completed puzzles to the Drayton Branch of the Wellington County Library and swap them with other puzzlers in the community.

Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle! It’s a fun and simple way to share your favourite puzzles, discover something new and connect with fellow puzzle enthusiasts.

Puzzles should be in good condition and include all pieces. Any leftover puzzles can be picked up after October 4 or will be donated.

Get ready for a delicious Culture Days experience! Join One Dee’s Thai Kitchen & More on September 30 at 5:00 PM for a fun and casual Thai food taste testing event.

Sample authentic, locally loved Thai flavours and discover some special eats that showcase the best of Thai cuisine. It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new, find a new favourite, and enjoy some delicious bites!

Bring the whole family out for a fun-filled day on the farm celebrating all things fall! Enjoy a variety of hands-on crafts, outdoor activities and plenty of opportunities to explore.

Get creative with beaded corn cobs, wooden spoon scarecrows and fairy doors, then head outside for a corn maze and scavenger hunt, explore the forest trails and playground, try your hand at corn hole or see if you can rope the cow!

Don’t forget to stop by the barn for a family photo and join us for Corn Bingo at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy, so gather the family and spend the day enjoying the farm, the forest and the fun of fall!

Calling all pie lovers! Join us for a fun and hands-on cream pie-making workshop with the Seniors Centre for Excellence! 

This FREE event is open to adults of all ages and is a great opportunity to get creative in the kitchen, connect with others, and enjoy a little pie trivia along the way! While your pie bakes, relax with coffee, tea and good conversation.
