Planned Power Outage – Hydro One Maintenance Work in Mapleton Area

Hydro One crews will be completing important maintenance work in the area to support the safe and reliable delivery of electricity. These proactive upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the local power grid and help reduce the risk of unexpected, longer-duration outages in the future.

A planned power outage is scheduled as follows:

Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026
Time: Approximately 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Friday, July 3, 2026

Approximately 960 Hydro One customers will be impacted. Affected customers have been notified directly through Hydro One’s automated phone system.

Residents are encouraged to prepare in advance of the outage by ensuring appliances are turned off, charging essential devices, keeping refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible, and preparing any necessary supplies. If using a generator, it should be operated safely outdoors and kept away from windows, doors, and vents.
