Building Permits

The purpose of a Building Permit is to ensure the minimum standards of the Ontario Building Code are met in order to protect the health and safety of building occupants by regulating design, construction, quality of materials, use and occupancy of buildings and structures. Burn Notifications

Our Open Air Burning By-law states that any open air fires within the Township of Mapleton that exceed a ground area of 2 meters x 2 meters require a minimum of 24 hour prior notification to the Township by completing an Open Air Burning Notification Form. Entrance Permits

Properties that do not currently have access from the municipal road to enter a property require an Entrance Permit. For more information, please contact the Township offices at 519-638-3313 ext. 046.

Special Event Permits
