Coffee Programs

The Seniors' Centre for Excellence offers Coffee Groups in Drayton and Moorefield. Free coffee and delightful conversations flow in these groups. Bring your coffee mug and your friendship. (We don't turn down baked goods to share …!) Please join us - it is a great way to make new friends and rekindle old friendships! No registration is necessary - just show up!

Drayton Coffee Hour

Address: Drayton United Church, 34 Main St E, Drayton

Dates: Starting up again from Thursday, March 5th, 2026 - 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month

Time: 10:30am to 11:30am

Moorefield

Address: Maryborough Community Centre - 15 Ball Ave, Moorefield.

Dates: On hold due to renovations in the MCC between February 1st and April 30th, 2026. We hope to return at the beginning of May 2026.

Dining Programs

The Seniors' Centre for Excellence hosts monthly dining events in Clifford, Harriston, and Palmerston. We invite you to join us for a home-cooked meal, dessert, coffee/tea, and a guest speaker. All dining events start at noon, with doors opening at 11:30 am.

Wellington County Library Programs and Events

Our Wellington County Library branches offer many interesting activities throughout the year. Check the online calendar regularly to see if there is any program or activity that will be of interest to you.

Writer's Group - For the Love of Words

Writing can be very therapeutic - and can also be lots of fun. Join our monthly Seniors' Centre online Zoom Writers' Group to discover your writer's voice or stretch your writer's muscle, meet new friends, and talk about writing. Who knows, maybe you will even discover that memoir or novel just waiting to be written! No experience is necessary. Please contact the office to get connected.

Zoom Meetings

The Seniors' Centre for Excellence offers weekly online Zoom Meetings, with the presentations covering a wide range of interesting topics. Come “Zoom” with us every Tuesday at 10:30 am and Thursday at 2 pm. (Tuesdays only during July & August).
